Dr. Yolanda Cintron is the founder of the International Center for Dental Excellence in Fort Lauderdale, where she has provided comprehensive, biologic-focused dental care for more than 27 years. Born in New York, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1987. Her background in chemistry and cellular biology naturally led her toward biologic dentistry, where she could combine science, esthetics, and whole-body health to transform patient care. Dr. Cintron is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), giving her extensive knowledge in how dental materials interact with the body. She follows strict biologic protocols for the safe removal of mercury fillings and root-canal-treated teeth, ensuring her patients receive treatment that minimizes toxicity and supports systemic health. Her passion for the esthetic side of dentistry also led her to advanced training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), where she studied the elements of smile design and the balance of art and function. With more than 15 years of oral implantology experience, Dr. Cintron has helped thousands of patients restore their smiles using biologic, metal-free solutions such as zirconia implants. She is also licensed and certified to provide IV sedation, offering an added level of safety and comfort for patients undergoing complex or lengthy procedures.
