Dr. Nicole Vane is the founder of Moonlight Beach Dental and a longstanding advocate for integrative, biologic dentistry rooted in the oral–systemic connection. She earned her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and went on to complete her dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in the top of her class. Since beginning private practice in San Diego in 2003, Dr. Vane has remained deeply committed to advancing dentistry beyond symptom-focused care toward a model that supports whole-body health. In 2014, Dr. Vane founded Moonlight Beach Dental as a purpose-built practice dedicated to biologic and integrative dental care. By design, the practice operates in a metal-free, high-tech environment with a strong emphasis on biocompatibility, safety, and patient education. The serene, ocean-view office is thoughtfully designed to support both highly complex clinical cases and patients requiring advanced comfort measures, including sedation dentistry for dental anxiety. Dr. Vane’s approach blends advanced technology with a conservative, systems-based philosophy—ensuring patients receive care that is precise, transparent, and aligned with long-term wellness. Dr. Vane has been an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) since 2012 and maintains affiliations with the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM) and the Holistic Dental Association (HDA). Her advanced clinical training includes mentorship and coursework under leaders in biologic dentistry, including Dr. Judson Wall, Dr. Michelle Jorgensen, Dr. Harris, and Dr. Mollica. Through continued education and clinical excellence, Dr. Vane remains dedicated to delivering biologic dental care at the highest standard.
